For typical maintainence and OEM refresh type stuff I use The M Shop in Eagle Rock. Super knowledgeable, on the expensive side but its worth it for the quality of work they do. https://www.themshop.com/

For track oriented stuff I use JMP Autowerkz. They do great race car builds, alignments, fabrication type stuff. Very knowledgeable and they build all levels of track oriented E46s. https://jmpautowerkz.com/

Those are both LA area though, I don't know of anything in the San Diego area, where it looks like you're located.
