SS V1 headers with Bimmerworld Y pipe

Anyone that has this setup, can you please share how you mated the headers with the Bimmerworld y pipe? Trying to get an idea of how this will work. Would like to avoid welding them together as the exhaust comes out frequently on the race car.

Does ECS or anyone still put SS stuff on sale throughout the year?

    Thanks,
    -Rudy

IIRC, BW sells a Y pipe that mates to SSV1 headers. I think you’ll have to reach out to them to buy.

Thanks, just messaged them, if they did at one time, they do not any longer.

I'm looking to find this out as well. Any update?

I run SSV1 headers to SS section 1 to Bimmerworld Y. Otherwise you'll need to modify the y pipe to fit the SSV1

That's what I'm concluding as well. I'm currently running an SS V1 headers mated to an SS section 1, however I'm about to tune the car and Randy at Epic mentioned that it's ideal to run a section 1 y-pipe with the merge as close to the headers as possible.

I'll probably just settle for a little less power.

I'm going to have a local race fabricator customize the BW y pipe to fit the oversized headers, due to what Randy mentioned.
