I work for a company that rents about 400sq/feet of space within this data center (see the picture above) and our nam3forum server is housed with all of their servers. The data center itself is in the San Diego area and about 85,000sq/feet in size. I'm a Data/Software Engineer, but I designed our datacenter power and networking layout back in 2008 when we moved into this facility and help manage the infrastructure. I live in the Portland area, but fly down a few times a year to work down there when I need to do something hands-on. Our company has petabytes of storage and hundreds of servers and uses a tremendous amount of internet bandwidth, so hosting this server basically costs them nothing in the grand scheme of things.
