E46 won’t start

Hey guys, posting this in hopes of getting some help.
ive been stuck with an issue I really can’t sort out with my E46, I’ve already replaced the battery but the car does this weird thing where when I turn the ignition on the ASC light comes on and some of the gauges goes absolutely crazy by jumping up and down, it does that and also has weird clicking sounds coming from the engine bay. Well come to NA M3!

This sounds like the battery was low. You need to measure batt voltage directly on the batt posts and not on the cable clamps.
