BMW Camshaft timing tool

Last night I ordered the bridge timing tool and just need to double check it is indeed GENUINE BMW and NOTHING else.

I ordered this:

In about every DIY is see the edges of the tool are black and not unfinished like the one I just ordered.

ECS says it a BMW tool, but the same part # at FCP brings up this one:

This tool from FCP has the black "sides", did they make different versions? One with the black and another left unfinished??

I need to know if I have a genuine bmw tool comming or not.
