Hotchkis M3 Front Sway Bar NLA?

The bar is pretty light and I prefer it for my future project. I actually accidentally met John Hotchkiss at a car meet. We were just casually talking cars until he introduced his name at the end. Super friendly and down to earth guy. Maybe we can make separate multiple contacts to Hotchkiss to get him to swing a last batch? lol

You know what, I think the Ground Control sway bars are hollow as well. When I bought my set in 2019 I remember going with the Hotchkiss because they were in stock at the time, but yes, the alternative was GC.

Oh I thought for sure the GC front bar was solid? I recently had bought a bunch of GC parts so I was on their site alot and would see the bar but didnt look deeply into it.
Edit: yup no mention of it being hollow, it’s a solid alloy bar it seems

IIRC the Hotchkis hollow bar was like some 5lbs lighter than the solid options? I think I had read this in an Obioban post but i could be wrong of course.

And yeah to add to the M and non M bars being specific, Hotchkis has two different part numbers for the front bars. 22825 is non M and 22826 is the M3 one we want. I think i had this in my original post from when I found a bar in stock at a online vendor but was 22825 pn.

Chrome Moly alloy tubing means it's hollow.

edit: CSL sway bar would probably be lighter but is not adjustable.

GC is hollow. When you will have one in your hands you will see it’s not solid. Probably the lightest swaybar on market

I thought about that but the links and brackets are specific to this bar, so I'm not sure if the weight of the bar alone matters?

I was going to weight some links and a vert sway bar later so I will post that data too

Check with your BMW parts guy for inventory. It doesn't look like they are in stock at the usual online retailers.

I put a CSL bar on a car last year, getting it was quite the challenge but a the time, there were a bunch available.
