    Connecting Rod Update

Does anyone have any info or hunches on why the connecting rod was updated to accept the M10 torque to yield bolts over the M11 bolts? From what I can find, neither design seems to be more or less susceptible to failure, yet there must've been some intention behind this update.

M10 is an elastic bolt so the clamp force is held better with age than M11 non elastic bolt
