    Rear Driver Fender Repair Help

Hey guys, yesterday morning while on my way to work my rear driver wheel fell off and did some damage. I'm trying to figure out a ballpark price for how much It would cost to fix and some shop recs in the PNW area (Portland and Seattle). Any input would be much appreciated, thanks guys!

Oh, and some pics here of what happened:

My guess were a few were loose and put tension on the last two because they snapped in half! Sucks to see this happen but could see it going a whole lot worse but I stopped as soon as I felt it happen.

Hard to see the extent of the damage on the quarter panel since the photos are so dark, but would a good paintless dent repair shop be able to massage it straight?

How many spot welds would need to drilled out to do this? My left quarter panel has about 10lbs of bondo on it from a little brush of the tire wall.

A rear quarter panel replacement DIY would be fantastic. I think there's a few of us that could maybe tackle this possibly.

I never did it but my Silver M3 might have those on it in the future. Trying to build a lightweight ‘’street legal’’ M3 without any rollbar first. Not sure if I can install those Karbonius quarter panels even if I put CMP underside/topside + some custom X-brace between rear subframe and RSM??

Curious, but these were the stock wheel bolts? Not any wheel stud conversion stuff?

Hahaha this is very tempting and I guess I now have an excuse to do it! You’re trying to get me over budget on the M this year in a single purchase 😂

Correct, stock 5x120 bolts. I will be going titanium stud conversion next month when the Arc-8RT’s come in though

I snap some photos of it for you guys. It’s about an inch and a half that got rolled in on the rearest part of the fender leaving a hideous gap

A good body shop should be able to save this instead of changing the whole quarter. I would drive the car to a couple shops (if possible) and get quotes/opinions. I would say ballpark 1,500-2k.

Yeah see I was thinking the same range but didn’t know if I was out of touch with anticipated pricing. Good to know it’s not just me. I’ll follow the advice and drive it to a few places (runs and drives as it did prior to this).
