Rev Shift bushing (Stay Away)

I made a mistake and bought Rev Shift diff bushings for my M3 about three years ago.
About 4 months ago, I did some suspension work (rear adjustable control arms), and the mechanic pulled me to the side and told me that my diff bushings were no good.
I was shocked and pissed because I changed my bushing like 3 years ago and haven't even put more than 1000 miles on the car.
The bushing pretty much shifted. I contracted Rev shift because I knew they had some type of warranty, or, as they say, They told me that their older bushing has a defect and will send me their updated bushing. This guy has been giving me the runaround for months, saying that as soon as the bushing comes in, he will ship. But it's been months. I would avoid buying any of their products. I did do a small search, and I have seen that they do not ship items on time and barely answer emails; at this point, it feels like I am begging them to send me new bushings. I should have just gone oem and I wouldnt have to pay labor twice. Also, if you have rev shift diff bushings, I highly suggest you take a look and replace them. Just a heads up anyone thinking of getting any of thier products.

Can anyone recommend any other bushing? Or should I just do OEM?

OE front bushing and replacement cover

OE front bushing and OE E36 diff cover bushings (lower cost option)

or you jump straight to solid for a track only car

For stuff that is not easy to swap out such as diff bushings, you almost always are better off sticking with OE parts.

For the front lower bushing, OEM is the way to go to avoid a high pitched whine at highway cruising speed.

Man, that's crazy. I've got AKG bushings all around the rear end when I did my reinforcement. 3 years later and ~22k miles later, they look good as new, with pretty frequent check ups (my car is in the shop a lot).

To echo above, stock replacement all around.

I too had a terrible experience with RevShift, very similar to yours except it took months to get the original parts, mine weren't even replacements. I'll personally never do business with them again as there are plenty of options in that space.

Are the e36 bushings too soft? I'd like to try and save a few bucks and not have to buy the whole cover. I was eyeballing the Revshift 80A's, but now I'm worried.

I feel like this is has been increasingly quoted as fact, but I have yet to see a true confirmation on it.

I also haven't seen anyone with firsthand experience chime in against using the e36 bushings, so when I get around to the job I'll probably go with those. Unless the difference is drastic enough to create slop, anything will be better than what I have now.

E36 bushings were used on the Euro S50 that made almost the same HP as the S54. They are slightly shorter in length compared to the S54 versions. I have not seen any issue with using them vs original S54.

Yes, going OEM for OEM feel and reliability is probably the way to go. I put the AKG ones in when I was all about maxing out performance.

Also I wouldnt order anything from them. Poor customer service and hes always giving the run around. Its really a shame
