Battery Drain Issue

Can you not just attach the meter leads to the battery cable and terminal with plastic clamps, and pull each fuse one by one to see when the draw changes?

As for pulling fuses, on the E46 that is probably fine, but even starting from the E90, you have fuses that power other fuses, so by pulling one that powers other circuits you might kill the draw, put it back in and the draw is still solved and you got nowhere and have to wake the car back up and start over again, which is why I prefer the measuring method.
