Are they still available through BMW ? I'm confused because some BMW dealer claim they can get it and some said it's no longer available

It's available for sure. I just bought a PDC rear bumper because I am retrofitting PDC but my dealer pulled up a non PDC rear bumper and it was available. A lot of BMW parts are currently on nationwide dealer backorder. My dealer is having issues sourcing a passenger side fender.

You many want to try other online sources.

I checked the BMW system for you, 0 units in stock in Germany, has been discontinued since March 9th, 2024, BMW suggests fitting the PDC bumper instead (by means of part number subsitution).
You can try ordering one to see if there is still one left at some dealer in the US, that might be your only chance.

Who is your dealer? I might check with them on the rear bumper. I just bought a passenger fender from FCP Euro, it appears they have another one in stock.

Have you guys bought anything from Schmiedmann in Denmark? they seem to have the best pricing and the shipping aren't bad at all

That's strange that the bumper is showing as discontinued. I know for certain that my bumper was ordered after March 9th and I got a brand new non-PDC bumper from BMW. It did come from Germany and took quite a while to arrive.

Here's a screenshot from BMW parts portal, the 267 is the non PDC bumper, which has been 'eliminiated' and superseded by the 222 part number, which is the PDC variant.

I second on this being strange.

Not saying that your wrong but I just called the dealer a few weeks ago to order this. When I provided my vin they ordered a non-PDC bumper because my car was not originally equipped with PDC. I had to change the order to a PDC bumper because of the PDC retrofit but they never said anything about the non-PDC bumper being discontinued.

perhaps because of the superseded part number your original order also was ‘converted’ to the PDC variant in their order system.

Bumping this, I called a few dealers and none will order the Non-PDC bumper. All stating the PDC part is the only one that can be ordered.

Any competent body shop can fill those holes, same as the front bumper corner markers. I don’t understand why people seem to be averse to this.

Yeah I have had markers and holes “shaved” in the past by body shops to make things cleaner. But as for the front bumper it has the bracket for the side clips behind it. And several shops I went to said they’ve done it before and it’s a lot more work and hassle with those brackets in the way. So to remove for best access and then try to plastic weld back in place wasn’t something they wanted to do again. Making the job much more labor expensive than just buying a new “euro” bumper.

                        I second this.

Had a similar experience when asking to fill-in the front bumper. Bodyshop also couldn't guarantee after few years that there would not be signs of stress cracking in the filled area not to mention the cost for the labor for the job. Ended up just having them sand and paint the reflectors.
