Good to know, thank you for clarifying

Disagree 100% on Turner as I think they're a shit company who use their customers to do validation testing on not fully baked products. Sure, their boxes are probably fine now but doesn't change my opinion.

To be fair, that’s most manufacturers in most industries. Not everyone is Intel, Apple, NVidia. There are way more companies out there using customers to help fund their next big idea…that’s just how business is done in this world unfortunately.

    HTE

He's tuned countless 46 m3 owners, without a single horror story.

Again, in regard to the Turner box, it's slightly quieter than an OE or Karb, but overall it's a few hundred to several hundred less and been great for many years. If you have a budget and want to get as much done for x amount, the Turner fits the bill.

There is always Terra's modified CSL bin here if you need something quick.

    This Turner deal is: $1566.99
As far as I can tell, Karbonius bought through IND is $2249 - https://ind-distribution.com/collect...on-airbox-race

That's a difference of $682.01, 30% less than the Karbonius price. Shipping from IND is $20 to me, so negligible.

Can you still buy Karbonius stuff direct from them? If so, that's 1,795.00 €, which according to Google, is $2002.95, bringing the gap down to $435.96, 21% savings.

I haven't dove into VAT and shipping direct from Karbonius.

That's interesting about the sound, that would annoy me big time if I bought something and found out later that I bought the wrong shit

Regarding VAT, you don't pay VAT on export good from EU at all, but you will have to pay import duty through DHL. I had to pay like $45 for some Megane RS calipers, and I think like $150-$250 for a bunch of stuff from MK Rennsport Technik

Just my opinion but if $400 is a deal maker/breaker on this project, you should stay stock. There will be stuff that comes up and random parts/hoses/clamps that need to be replaced when the airbox is off and to do it right, you need an HP ECU with a map sensor. The OEM air filters have gotten quite expensive as well.

I bought mine direct a few years ago and at that time it was practically the same cost as a turner box.

Even if Turner/ecs have fixed the issues, I truly don't understand why you'd buy it over Karb. It's not really that much cheaper than the Karb race box.
This was more true a couple years ago. I bought my Karb stuff when the exchange rate was 1 to 1.

Just another thing to note, the turner box is thicker and heavier than my Karb box. Recently felt them side by side.
