I have to say, I hated 9/10, much happier with 9.5/10". 9/10 felt no better than typical 8.5/10 plus the tire math is worse. Don't do it imo. Plus the stretch of the 235 or 245 tire on 9" wheel was offputting imo.
Also agree the tried and true 245/275 setup is the go to setup but I feel with the 9” in the front it would be a waste running the 245. Wouldn’t the 255/285 be a better use of the wider wheels?

Anyone running 18x9 front and 18x10 rear wheels - What tire sizes are you running
I have a set of 18’s that are 18x9 et30 for the fronts and 18x10 et25 for the rears. I am debating on what tire sizes to run on the wheels. I am generally a fan of running the widest tire on wheels for my car. I am debating between:
255/40/18 fronts and 285/35/18 rears
or
265/35/18 fronts and 275/35/18 rears.
In one sense the 255’s up fronts would fit the front wheel perfectly but be 10mm narrower than the 265’s. While the 285’s would not fit perfectly on the 18x10 compared to the 275’s.
Running the other setup, the 265’s up fronts would not fit the front 18x9 like the 255’s but the 275’s would fit better on the rears.
I figured running the proper in the fronts would probably be better for steering feel and input, but I am not sure.
Is anyone running these size wheels? What tire sizes are you running?
Any thoughts or input on tire sizes?
