Does Dr Vanos or Beisan do holiday sales?

Hey folks, I’m looking to replace my VANOS unit with a new one from either Dr Vanos or Beisan sometime soon. They’re both $1500 normally, but I was curious if they have historically done any holiday sales that might help me save some money!

I determined it’s the cause of my startup rattle (I think you contributed to that thread) and rattles above 2k rpm.

I know they can be rebuilt, but I’m hesitant to take that on. My car has a few Beisan parts on it already, but it looks like the VANOS unit itself is original.

Which parts? Rebuilding yourself costs $560 for all the VANOS specific parts, saving you ~$940.
