Multifunction steering wheel: wiring problem with cruise control

Hello everyone. I recently purchased an M3 E46 with the competition package. Having to install driving aids as I am disabled, I had the steering wheel replaced with the multifunctional one, both to preserve the original and not ruin it and because the radio controls and cruise control are very important to me. I bought the kit 61120016012 and my mechanic installed it correctly. The problem is that: on the plug under the steering wheel (X10170), it cannot complete the procedure for the cruise part as it is present on PIN 8, a brown/gray cable that in the classic guides should be empty but in this case, should be the cable for the M-Track mode. I have seen guides where a lever from the Z4 has been added for example, but I wanted to understand if there is the possibility of directly using the buttons that are already present on the steering wheel and if someone can kindly explain to me how to solve it.

Greetings from Italy (and sorry for my English 😁)

Hi all, quick question. I bought a multi-button steering wheel a few years back and never wired it to work with my ZCP. I also bought an M5 stalk to have the extra button to wire in M-Track mode. There used to be directions on the old forum on how to do all of this, but that is lost. Does anyone have information on this??
