Just replaced headlight bulbs earlier this year (<6months ago). Haven't been driving the car much but just caught this flicker yesterday. Any ideas what it could be? See video:

Osram Nightbreakers bought from the official Osram vendor store came sealed and the individual bulb serial numbers were verified using Osram's online verification tool - https://www.osram.com/appsj/trust/fr...o?locale=en_US

It might be the bulbs, but it could be the ballast as well.
I had flickering, which progressively got worse. I replaced a bulb, which stopped the flickering for about a month. I took a look when the flickering returned and found the glass of the bulb was broken into a bunch of pieces (I didn't touch the glass at any time).
I ended up replacing the ballast with a new bulb and the problem hasn't returned since (this was about 15 years ago).
Bulbs were from the dealership, as good aftermarket options were hard to find at the time.Last edited by elbert; 10-30-2024, 07:29 AM.

The issue resolved itself before I started troubleshooting. Leads me to believe it was a bulb issue. I purchased HELLA bulb equivalent to OEM.
