Mine has whined for 5 years now. Still drives the same. Its annoying though. I plan on replacing the bearing when I do my rod bearings this winter. I'm pretty sure I bought the last known bearing in the world. He would source/keep 'cores' which he'd convert and have ready to be used for 6MT swaps.
