If someone want the -700 brown Clutch switch, I have a new one here laying around.
If these are still not available, i can send it international (I’m in Germany) otherwise I will give I back to the dealer.

I did flash all the proper modules to manual, but I made no binary code modifications. My understanding was that binary changes only needed to be made to get cruise to work properly? My car is an early 2002. Any help would be appreciated.
contact ECUWorx, Martyn, maybe he'll help you out... he did my flash remotely without any issues.

If you're doing an SMG to manual conversion, you may as well just use the 2001 style sensors since they're still available. For us factory manual cars, it's a little annoying if our stock sensors fail.

To clarify things, as explained earlier in this thread...You can use 700 or 701 switch. ONLY these 2 switches work with MSS54(Hp) because ECU need to read signal HIGH (+12v) instead of LOW (GND). I tested this on bench and also have both switches here and can confirm this.
With 701 switch on US and Japan cars you need to code out Clutch interlock in ews Modul or bridge clutch signal on EWS plug. This switch in green.

With 700 switch you will have start/clutch interlock in EWS working. Working also in every other M3( also in M3’s without clutch start interlock). This switch is brown.

pawelgawel : if you really find absolute no other way to get the switch, I can send you a switch if you pay the switch and shipping...

It's not just North American cars, euro cars will only allow cruise to operate with the brown '700' switch too. No amount of coding will make it work without a '700' switch.

seems you don't read up.. superseded # does not mean the #700 that M3 needs in NA. 898 will not work
