GC street camber plates paired with which Coilovers?

I currently have Ground Control street camber plates with lowering springs. I would like to buy a quality coilover set up that works with the GC street plates. For those of you that have GC street camber plates, which coilovers are you guy running?

    thanks in advanced

Back when I had GC - I did the whole Street/School set. I was tracking the car at that time.

Anything that works with the stock top hats:

      Bilstein PSS10s
      Ohlins R&T
      KW V1/2/3
      H&R

Ya was gonna say, you're sort of stuck with kw, pss10, ohlins, eibach, h&r unless GC will sell you the 60mm or 2.5" perches you'd need to use coilovers like jrz, mcs or convert pss10/kw to linear, custom rate springs.

Asking what coilovers ppl use with GC plates is a useless question as the plates will work with every coilover set as long asnyou get the right perch when you purchase/sepc the plates.

That said, not that many coilovers are better than eibach/dinan lowering springs on koni or bilstein so choose wisely. My vote is pss10 or h&r (bilstein dampers) on the low end, ohlins middle and mcs high end.

I was lucky enough to get turner perches so I was able to use my H&R coils with linear springs and OE top mounts. That said, H&R are awful, very stiff and they are not digressive, and have a lot of gas pressure so they ride like shit.

you can however, get H&R coils and use the B12 cartridge and you have a coil over with digresive valves.

How are the KW's? I ask from someone who has....BC's (P.O did it). Would some V3's be a lateral move or worthwhile?

I'm thinking I know the answer here and should be willing to shell out 4k+.
I try to convince myself I don't need anything else but know a quality coilover could make all the difference.

Again, nobody ever mentions AST, which is Moton's sister company.

For the price, I don't think you can do much better. I would place them slightly above KW, Ohlins, etc

GC sells perches-- you can run pretty much whatever you want.

Keep in mind the shaft diameter of the strut. I believe the stock (and stock replacements) have a 16mm diameter so as someone mentioned above, anything that works with the stock top hats will work, but a lot of aftermarket coil-overs use a 14mm shaft so they won't work with your current camber plates without a small sleeve to fill the gap from 14mm to 16mm. There's a thread somewhere about that.

How are the GC plates on rough roads? Any clunks or noises? I have TCK D/A coil-overs with Vorshlag plates and I've been thinking of switching to the GC plates to get rid of a tiny bit of harshness and minimize road noise. (I'm getting old and don't track much)

GC Street plates behave very well on rough roads. Should have no rattling because there's no metal on metal load bearing.

I'm running the GC camber plates with GC custom tuned Konis and 600/750 Eibach springs. Bought the package new from GC in 2018 and after 6 years of track use, still working well for both street and track.
