Unfortunately all I have is 16 of the 2,410 ZCPs were built with "Special Paint (490)" in North America.

To be open to new things - I would be impressed by someone with the Rear Motorized Sunshade option on an Individual car.

Estoril My specimen is a 2006 individual zcp (black sapphire metallic) - with rear motorized sunshade!

I think that all Canadian individuals have individual sills, IIRC. Those sills were available in aftermarket for a while.

You can still purchase them at dealer or even on ECS Tuning

My 2006 ZCP has the sunshade. Seems such a strange option for an M3. My suspicion is that at that point in the production run (March '06) they started throwing extra options in cars if they had extra parts they wanted to get rid of.

Given there were more than 26,000 coupes produced for all of North America, I don't think anybody considers an E46 M3 coupe a rare car in the aggregate.

With that said, production numbers by attributes like exterior/interior color combination + transmission is hardly granular detail synonymous with a "smoker's package".

Anyone can stack up multiple options to make their car seem "rare" in their own mind. With that approach - almost anything is "rare" or "one of a few".
