TC Kline DA rear shock rattle /noise

I'm running a TC kline DA on my M3 wagon project car

    2 Front TCK DA shocks
    2 Rear TCK DA shocks
    Set of TCK Buna RSMs
    Ground Control Articulating Rear Perches
    Ground Control Race Camber Plates
    Swift 9k (504lb) Springs front
    Eibach 800lb springs rear

The rear shock or RSM area on both sides has an annoying rattle at slow speeds going over slight bumps etc

Previous owner says they never heard it but I'm guessing that because I have a wagon with an open cargo area, the noise is more prominent

I found several references online where people with DA tears have the same rattle and say it's normal

Any other e46 people have a similar experience?

It's driving me nuts and makes me want to sell the whole kit just to get some things else

Every thing is tight in the rear, have triple checked everything and there is nothing loose

Some forum posts I found on it

The only time I've heard a rattle is if the washer is upside down on the rear shocks and contacting the RSM.

You sure you're not hearing those GC mounts? I have a new set sitting in my garage and I can't imagine a time when they don't make noise.

        Might be the spring.

Do you have the upper spring perches to go with the articulating perches?

In my experience with the TCKR DAs, the rears make more of a loud popping (or quiet clunking) noise, rather than a rattle. I would usually hear it when it quickly extends, like under hard braking. The noise is from one of the shock valves.
Supposedly these shocks were revised around 10 to 15 years ago, so if yours are on the newer side, it shouldn't be making too much noise (mine were from about 20 years ago).

One other thought would be if you are using the paper gasket that goes between the RSM and the car. I don't think it would make too much of a difference, but it couldn't hurt to try if you left it out.
