I've got INPA and all the other usual BMW utilities installed on a spare laptop, and I've used it with success (INPA, NCS, ISTA+). I'm running into an issue when I try and read the DME Shadow Memory with INPA:
API ERROR
ApiFsLesen/apiResultSets: API ERROR Nr. 98
SYS-0008: JOB NOT FOUND
Job error or no such result !
Continue script processing ? YES NO
There's a thread on e46fanatics with the exact same issue, but no resolution (and 10 years aged).
From what I can gather to this point, it's unable to find the job in the object file (mss54ds0.prg?), but I don't know where to go from there. Any troubleshooting tips would be greatly appreciated (e.g., what file(s) I could consider trying to find an alternate source for, review further, etc.).
