After performing a window setpoint reset, I’m now having issues with my central locking. I rolled the window down, then up all the way, and held the switch in the up position for 60 seconds to set the upper limit—so the window would drop when pulling the door handle. I was relieved that my GM5 was working properly… but now my car is getting the last laugh 😅
The reset fixed my window issue, but now my central locking is acting up. The passenger-side door (where I performed the reset) no longer unlocks with the key fob button. Thankfully, the driver’s side door locks and unlocks normally, and the trunk unlocks and opens with the button just fine.
Oddly, the center console lock switch will lock everything, but it won’t unlock when I press it again.
Could this be a sign that my GM5 relays are failing? I did swap DME’s recently after installing my airbox. I know the GM5 and DME are not linked but wanted to call this out in case it was relevant.
Thanks in advance for your input
