Current OE Radiators still a good option for track use?

I see the new batch of OE radiators aren’t made by Modine but NRF I believe.

Do these have the same cooling performance like the old Modine orignals?

My car was getting to 3/4 this past weekend at COTA when it got to 85 degrees. Fine at 60 degrees.

I would like to start with replacing the radiator, however I want to verify they are of good performance. I am hoping the fitment is okay as well.

Fan clutch is good and working.

If not, it looks like PWR and Koyo Rad are the only substitutes.

Yes. They’re just not manufactured by Modine anymore.

Yes. Go OE for track.

Modine is owned by NRF, there is no point in buying from the dealer either, you will get the same NRF radiator, not the old style Modine part.

COTA is going to be a problem. My car always runs hotter there just because of the amount of time spend on throttle followed by the super annoying switch backs.

If you removed the pusher fan then the bottom of your AC condenser is most likely really chewed up. I'd start there.

Good to know it is COTA related, I have all the stock components. I still use this car for everyday so want to retain A/C. I do probably need to try and clean and the condenser and inspect the fin though.

and I have that used rad newer Modina on the way to keep the parts cannon loaded.
