PSA- check on your cars in storage

Went to check on my car in storage. No signs of mice anywhere in this garage. Opening the hood tells a different story. Add it to the battle scars. The worst part is all the urine stains all over, including the csl airbox.

On a different note, is the chewed up insulation connected to the firewall? Or can it be replaced?

Set up a mouse trap barrier for next storage. Sorry this happened though!

Gross. Be careful when you clean that out, mouse shit can contain toxins.

I have used dryer sheets at the entry points/critical areas of my trucks the past 15 years. Stored indoors & outdoors on my sister's farm property. So far I've never had a mouse, but I do try to start or at least check on them once every 4-6 wks and they don't stay in place for more than 6 months. ....currently knocking on wood.

I was going to suggest the same. Dryer sheets work well.

Same happened to my car. They ate through a wire but luckily it was an easy fix and not part of the main harness.

Leave the hood open and you shouldn't have any issues.
