The tab on my RF corner lens has broken off. I got a new pair of Depo lens on Amazon. My reason to post is to ask about the fastener which has a plastic "basket" around it. That basket is fragmenting so i think i need to replace it too. Where can I source this part and is it as simple as it appears to replace? It seems that it remains in-place and is either in a lock or unlock position. Advice please. Thanks.

I just replaced my lenses recently so had to take the corners out. the basket portion is just there to compress like a spring from what i can tell, no need to over tighten just get enough compression to keep the corner nice an snug.
I think there 2 types of corners, not sure on exact years, but there is clip on type and the screw with the basket thing.

Like he said you should be able to buy the little basket. If you have an early year car you might have the clip.
