Being on coilovers the spring sits on the body and the control arm. Over time, I’ve noticed some minor deformation.
Enter carbon fiber! This should help spread the load and even take up some of the force. Even better is you can get better performance than steel in this application with a thinner part. Adds a minimum amount of height so it won’t force the use of a slightly shorter spring. My high dollar perch extenders keep the top plates from falling off when I jack up the car but I’m going to stick some x2 sided tape on the top to see if it stays stuck to the body.
No downsides - no elongation, heat or impacts.

$75 shipped for a set of 4. I use a hole saw to cut them so the edges will be rough. Its a spring pad for crying out loud!
