I recently picked up a new(old) steering wheel for a great deal and upon transferring over the wiring, I noticed that one of the pins for the airbag on the clock spring side isn’t aligned with the other. I tried wiggling it to see if it was loose/dropped but it seems to be pretty solid. Can anyone confirm if this is how it’s supposed to be?

Bend it back it should be fine, if not. I've got tons of clock springs I'll send you one.
If you installed the connector it would have fought you. If you got it clipped in the pin likely would have broken, either way you'd have an airbag light on.'09 HP2S, '12 R12GSA, '00 Black 323iT, '02 Alpine 325iT (Track Wagon), '02 Alpine 330iT

IIRC it was shortly after airbag replacement at the dealer…

If the airbag light wasn't on before it wasn't like that originally. Bent pins do happen in weird ways. I've definitely seen it on DSC and DMEs which I have no idea how it could happen.
Clock spring is going out the door today.
