Valve adjustment needed 2.60mm shim. Is this bad?

Just had my head redone and had supertech valves and springs installed. Why did I do this? Because my previous head job only lasted 6k miles before multiple valve stem seals started leaking, so I got rid of the last common denominator

Anyways, when doing the valve adjustment, many of the cylinders took various sized shims, but one of the exhaust valves needed a 2.60mm shim, the largest shim provided in the kit. The valve lash is within spec now, but should this be a reason for concern for needed such a large shim? If it needed a bigger shim in the future, what would I do? Pull the cams for the 3rd time and replace the rockers?

I think it wears the other way, or the opposite as we would think, so next adjustment will be under 2.6, i have to check

That could make sense, as in the adjustment shim is the consumable material?

It just seemed odd to me that many valve took shims in the 2.4s range, and then suddenly a 2.60mm. I also inspected the bottom of that rocker with a mirror the best I could, didn’t notice anything abnormal compared to others

It could be that valve has the thickest seat, or the seat wasn't pressed in fully. The shim is not subjected to wear down.
