Cylinder head bolt socket

I noticed FCP euro sells an E12 socket extension for head bolts on other BMWs. The head bolts on the e46 m3 are E14. Does a regular E14 socket suffice for accurate torquing? Is there a better option to use such as an E14 socket extension (not sold on FCP)?

Provided it fits there will be no issue with torque.
