    Equal Length Section 1 Opinions

I’ve been looking into different exhaust setups and have seen a lot of equal length section 1’s, Ive heard of sunbeam and rogue and came across a company called bomizusa in Orange CA, they are priced significantly cheaper than both companies dont know much about them though. Wanted peoples thoughts on if they like equal length section 1 or not

My buddy has a bomiz valved exhaust for his e90 m3 and it sounds amazing. I think they are legit as he had no issues with it. Where is the link to the bomiz EL S1?

Those cats aren't doing much at that price.

Maybe I'm an outlier but the more I hear equal length section 1s, the more I appreciate the rasp of a traditional style exhaust.

Just heard back from Bomiz. This is what they wrote and this is the link to the instagram post. If what they are saying is true, I'm putting my stock muffler back on and getting the race version!

                    "Hey Julian,

The only sound clip we have is the one on our Instagram of the E46 on the Dyno, this is with a fully stock system including stock headers paired with our race variant which is the straight piped section 1. The resonators do help with rasp a little however they also play a role in volume/how loud it can be. It really all comes down to personal preference.

I sent them a message as well. If they can do higher quality cats.........or if Supersprint can just do a version with their HJS cats..........

                        This is hilarious.

Stock catted manifolds with their section 1 would actually create even more unequal lengths bc the outputs of oem US manifolds are swapped L/R compared to euro or aftermarket headers.

I'm running headers and dual resonated section 1. I don't want to deal with the catless smell so at the $680 price point, I would be willing to give the catted version a try. I did notice that the option is for a pre-order. Not sure if that means they are built to order or what.

I've been stalking Bomiz's instagram for equal length sec 1 updates. As far as the OE setup with the non resonated Bomiz sec 1, I feel like it's not as good as the Euro headers + sunbeam sec1 set up.
