SAF XJ+FM diff fluid formula changed? Noisy?

Yea when they told me that it seemed absurd. When I researched the fluid it seemed like people were always trying to find a shortcut but the SAF XJ+FM remained supreme. Is this what you run as well?

Yes, but I also use motul lubes.

Good to know. I never tired Motul but always have thought of them as a very reputable brand. Gotta try some out at some point.

I changed the diff oil and with in a few hundred miles, it was dark again
Give it another drain and refil

That was a friend's old set of nonM fitment wheels.

I have aggressive arc8s on my e46 and e88s on my e90.

recently put Castrol in, it groans some, but doesn't bother me.

Color doesn’t necessarily mean too much. The antioxidants in some fluids turn dark when they get hot the first time.
