    I believe they were referring to the Build Journal section of this forum. A moderator can move this thread there if you don't want to manually copy and paste.

      [QUOTE=M3llowM3;n313064]

      that could have been a ballast or ignitor issue, i would start at ballast as that is easier to get at[/QUOTE

      At $170 or whatever they cost, i went with the LEDs. required some cut and paste and the results are good. equally bright if not slightly better.

          got home last night, topped up oil (running 5w50 liqui moly green - looks weird!), coolant (zerex g48), power steering (liqui moly central hydraulic fluid), gas and started right up... purring like a kitten.

          bleed brakes, button up front/rear bumpers, anti sway bars, some under belly stuff and she's ready to roll again!

          this was fully running but just had oil leaks and i had a crap ton of new parts to install.

          July 1st lifted her up, did all the rear end work, moved to the front Aug 1st with motor drop Aug 12th. Motor back in Aug 28th, Hope to get it running by tomorrow... Sep 7... lots of work... everyday an hour here and there... and some longer days on the weekends.. with lots of off time, waiting on parts, cottage life, golf, slo-pitch, ball hockey getting in the way!

            Took for first drive... topped up the power steering, coolant, oil after the round the block drive. lifted up the front to install the final missing pieces. Plastic covers, lights, front bumper - the sequence underneath to install all the plastic and metal covers etc is pretty tricky. Air intake, brake cooling duct all needs to follow a bit of a step by step. I'll try to write some thing up if it's not already done.
