    Spontaneous wiper fluid leak?

Seeking council on a sudden wiper fluid resevior failure. Came down to the garage and probably the whole resevior emptied on the ground. Only thing i can think of possibly causing this is that i was cleaning my wheels thoroughly and got in the wheel well with the pressure washer.

Anyone ever had this happen to them? Do I need to take the bumper off to get to the resevior?

Absolutely not urgent since I'd never use the wiper fluid but having the light now is slightly annoying.

Mine leaked one time, it was the seal around the pump got hard and loose over time.I did not have to remove the bumper to replace it.

You should be able to get at it from behind the passenger wheel well

Taking the headlight out also helps to see where the leak is coming from. I had the feed line to the headlight washer come loose once, that was a fun one.

it's likely the washer pump grommet that is leaking. You can access the pump from the passenger side wheel well by removing the panel towards the front of the car. You'll need to remove the wheel and a few screws to get the panel off.

Getting to the system is going to be the toughest part of this for sure. Appreciate the advice fellas.

I lost a lot of fluid from mine but not all of it. It turns out the rubber overfill tube had disintegrated at the washer bottle end.

The part isn't available separately but a piece of black silicone hose with an ID of 4mm and an OD of 7mm will do just fine.
