5E26 Code - Need help diagnosing

    Hey guys,
So I've been chasing a 5E26 Code which has been on/off since 2019 and now its come up constant in the past 6 months, and I cannot figure out what the actual culprit is.

    Summary -
    - Since 2019 my DSC and BRAKE light would come on in yellow during the winter time. Once it was summer it would go away.
    - In 2019 I had my brake pressure sensor 1 replaced but I believe this was from a specific code and not this 5E26 code
    - In the last year I noticed it coming on more and more often, always with a 5E26 code
    - Since the last 6 months both lights are now constantly on.

    Electrical work done -
    - Alternator - Replaced March 2020 (Bosch reman.)
    - Battery - Replaced July 2024

    Codes/Symptoms -
    - Current constant code - 5E26 - Control Unit, voltage supply, sensors
    - In Sept 2024 I had this code, cleared it and never came back - 5E43 Steering-angle sensor, internal
    - This past week I had this code but I believe this is because I pulled the battery when I went on vacation for 2 weeks - 5DF4 System voltage < 9 volts
    - Yellow DSC and BRAKE light on dash
    - DSC doesn't work, but ABS does work

Attempts to solve this based on research / input from friends with our cars -
    - Yaw Sensor replacement - tried a junk yard unit, didn't solve it
    - ABS module repair - pulled and had some suspicious connectors resoldered, didn't solve it (granted this was at a electronics shop and not at a automotive place)

    Diagnosis (see photos below) -
    - A friend who knows our cars really well said to check the data going to the brake pressure sensors, and to see what they read
    - With a scan tool I was able to check my car in comparison to a friend's M3
    - Both of my brake sensors are not showing any data in comparison to his

    Questions -
    - Based on the above, I think it could be a ground issue or a broken wire some where, would you agree?

    - Is this enough to say that both brake pressure sensors have died and replacing them will solve this?

Hard to believe both sensors went bad but I suppose its possible. In my experience its usually just one or the other.

IIRC I think those sensors are three pin: gnd, vref, and signal. Check that you're getting gnd and a voltage reference going to each sensor.

I would start checking the connector in the DSC unit first. That is what feeds the data for brake pressures.

Thank you for your response! So checking the plugs at both of the pressure sensors and the ABS/DSC MK60 unit is what I'm understanding

Do you know if this is the correct pin layout for our MK60? My car is a 2004 so I'm guessing this is the right one - see my actual ABS / DSC units and model numbers below from when I had them pulled a few months back

      Correct pin layout? https://bmwteka.com/wds/en/e46/0c9dc1ac
