Stainless Braided Clutch Lines — Primary to Secondary?

    Hey Guys:

I am planning my clutch pedal overhaul (replaced the clutch plate, flywheel and other bits under the car after purchase), but I’ve run into a bit of a weird gray area.

It looks like there are two hydraulic hose lines connected to the clutch cylinders: (1) 21526774267; and (2) 21526774274.

For the former (267), Rogue, Bimmerworld, UUC, etc. all seem to make a stainless option. That’s the easy part.

For the latter (274), I can only find a Chase Bays product. Link: https://www.chasebays.com/products/c...w-transmission.

Is the second line overkill? The lack of options suggest that stock is best, but it would be helpful to hear from the braintrust.

    Thanks in advance.

The line from the reservoir to the master? No reason to upgrade that let alone put a potentially problematic chase bays part on your car.

I'd stick with the factory part. Inspect it and if it still looks good, no reason to throw it out.

Copy that! I hadn’t heard of Chase Bays, which I assumed was a bad thing. Confirmed and will avoid.

This is the hose from reservoir to master 35006857512, you'll cut it to correct length since they give extra.
