I’ve seen my coolant temps on track go from about 178-ish to 190 since I had a massive oil leak 18 months ago. I want to limp this radiator along a little longer until I get to a ducted radiator project.
So I borrowed this Harbor Freight pressure washer from my neighbor.

I sprayed industrial strength simple green diluted 1:1 and it came out pretty good! A lot of grit and grime came out. Sorry, no before pic but let’s say you couldn’t see the CSF logo.

Yeah, it’s beat up. Figured worst case the washer bends up more fins and then I replace it. Didn’t bend any fins at full blast. It was interested to see how the water traveled through the radiator. It surprisingly came out the back side at a similar rate across the entire radiator despite the bent fins. The radiator also slowed the velocity of the water by A LOT!
Washing the oil cooler tomorrow. I taped off and covered the ports for the cooler lines. We’ll see how it goes.
