    Macht Schnell Headers

I recently found a set of Macht Schnell headers on FB Marketplace, I couldn't find much info on them, but Macht Schnell is a reputable brand and they were cheap so I went for it.

First, I'm curious if anyone has any experience with these, I don't see them mentioned on the forums often, or ever. All I can find is product posts by EAS and a dyno video on YouTube also by EAS.

Second, and forgive my ignorance, how are headers like this mated to section 1? I've seen a few others that use this style, but couldn't find any info on how they're installed. Only one header has the flange welded to bolt to section 1, the other header is just smooth like a slip fit. Should there be a slip-on flange? Some pictures I found online for reference:

Hmmm...back in the day I had a "Macht Schnell" air filter that didn't fit too well. Interested to hear about these headers.

          Dead

Macht Schnell, like most companies, doesn't make anything, they re-sell.

That said, cheap headers usually still work just fine, unless the flanges aren't straight enough, or too thick to fit on our studs.

So yes, one flange being fixed is normal, one is loose, but you should still have it. They should have supplied one, but you can find 2.25"-2.5" flanges no problem or reuse your loose stock one.

Get 2 new factory (or at least OEM HJS) crush gaskets for that midpipe-header connection.
