Street alignment - Help me understand and set my car up !

    Hey Everyone !

Trying to set my car up for street usage.
It was set up on KW V2 coilovers, with an alignement done by Delage in France. I absolutely loved how the car behaved. It was very good at turn in, as if the car really wanted to take the corner. You hadn't to fight it or force it to turn. It was very slightly oversteering, but very very manageable.
I am trying to find that again.
Car is not on Eibach coilovers.

    Suspension setup :
    - Eibach Street S coilover with linear springs
    - OE front and rear sway bars
    - Turner Motorsport street camber / caster plates
    - GC rear shock mounts
    - Stock rear camber arms
    - RTABs with limiters
    - Everything is good and tight with very low miles on it, all the bushings / balljoints have been changed so geometry is really under control

    Current setup :
    LEFT RIGHT
    FRONT
    CAMBER -2°14' -2°13'
    CASTER 7°30' 7°33'
    TOE 0°14' 0°14'
    REAR
    CAMBER -2°20' -2°25'
    TOE 0°05' 0°09'
What is your input on this setup ? Is the feeling I have in accordance with the setup ? What would you modify ?
So please, suspension gurus, chime in !

With no other changes, less rear camber and less front toe-in will help push the car in the direction you described.

Spring rates and sway bar settings are a big contributor here as well. What are your F/R spring rates? How does the car drive with the current setup?

Decent setup but too much front toe in for the turn in you are looking for
      For front toe in:
0 toe will give great turn in but can wander a bit on high speed highway
0.025 deg / 0 deg 2 minutes will give good turn in but provide just a touch more stability

Rear toe is fine would keep it around there.

A bit more front camber will give you better mid corner front end grip and turn in too, maybe up to 2.7 or so for a street setup and much more aggressive for track setup
How much camber you put in depends on what tires and spring rates you're running.

I don't see the point of running a lot of front camber on the street. You're going to eat tires and it's simply unnecessary. Less toe in the front would probably achieve the desired result. More toe in on the rear might feel better too..I imagine it feels strange to have more toe in on the front than the rear.

Thank you for the feedback guys !
I'll modify one parameter after the other and see the results so I can learn from my experiences.

I have modified the total toe in front as it is the only thing that I can measure at home.

I'll do it step by step.
I had 28' total in front and put it to 8' total.

I'll drive the car in the coming days and report back if it is better.

Sorry I hadn't answered to your specific questions.
Springs are the original ones that were with the kit, albeit I bought longer ones for the front as the car was too low. I bought the same rate but 1 inch longer that is all.

So front springs are Eibach 0700.250.0400 : 400 lbs / in
and rears are Eibach 0600.250.0450 : 450 lbs / in

Car is quite comfortable and nice to drive I must say, not bouncy or hard at all, which I quite like. I want it to be more GT than race car TBH.

Sway bars are the original ones from the M3.

Just went for a quick drive and it is much better in my opinion.
Once a steering angle is set the car doesn't fight to go straight again and takes a nice curve.
It's still stable in a straight line at ~100 mph and doesn't wander on the road.

              The M3 is back !!!

Those spring rates shouldn't be contributing to understeer. Glad the toe sorted it!

It wasn't understeer per se, more of a steering feeling that the car wanted to go to the outside of the turn when driving with a bit more enthousiasm, but I am no racecar driver haha
DSC light never came on, and it doesn't seem to want to since the car is back on the road with Pilot Sport Cup tires that are punching above my driving skills.
Now the car really dives to the apex in a nice manner, which I like.
