Looks like the only semi-OEM option outside of amazon and the bruce something brand. If anyone has bought this please chime in. Maybe I'll order it and find out.Originally posted by fattycharged View Post
is this the only option, mine is completely chunked up

I bought one of these as the one on my cosmetically totaled M3 was really rough even for how bad the rest of the car looks. It's not perfect but it looks way better than the one that was on the car.

I ordered the cowl from Bruceshark at the beginning of November and it didn’t ship. Just got a refund. Any other source?

I installed a cheap one from Amazon it was around $43 bucks. below average fitment but gets the job done until I feel like shelling out hundreds for a piece of plastic.

there are so many of these cars around doesn’t parts production have to be switched over to BMW classic or something?

sigh 😭 I was really lucky and binged ordered all new interior parts, slicktop roof, bumpers, etc for my ZHP while I could get them since it's now-or-never.Originally posted by Gt4 View Post
It's been a sad day since last winter...
Tried to buy an OEM slicktop roof panel this week, my order been canceled cause backorder...
Same for the dash/center console bracket 51-16-8-268-892, backorder from BMW...
My ZHP was missing one side, and the other looked like it had gone through a hurricane. My M3 has new ones as of a few years ago and still look pretty good - thankfully, the OE bmw ones are pretty durable.Originally posted by Cubieman View PostIt's sad, my new grills will likely just sit in their boxes now, that and my originals aren't that bad.

It's been a sad day since last winter...Originally posted by liam821 View PostECS lists the kidney grills for the 330i sedan as NLA, but FCP had a set, so I grabbed them for my ZHP. The window cowl continues to be backordered...
Side note, my daughter has an e46 325i sedan, and one of her grills got damaged. She didn't want to spend the money on an OEM set, so we grabbed a set off Amazon for $39. You definitely get what you pay for - they haven't fallen off (yet), but they're not nearly as nice fitting or as good-looking as the stock parts. Going to be a sad day when you can't get them new from BMW anymore.

If it's like the other stuff I've seen come back after hiatus (with price hike to boot), it'll be temu quality. Might as well order the amazon one.
