    High oil temps

Anyone know why my oil temperatures are so high this is on a regular day where it’s relatively cool in New Jersey and driving normal speed. Nothing crazy. I don’t have any check engine light signs on, and the car is relatively stock with the exception of Euro headers

When you switch the OBC to outside temp, what does it display? I read somewhere that the outside temp sensor has an impact on how that gauge reads. Either that or the oil level sensor is about to bite the dust.

is the outside temp sensor the one underneath the driver side bumper, little cone shaped thing? Do you know how its supposed to be wired?

I have the same issue, is your oil cooler clean?

Did you end up cleaning yours? How did you do it? I’ve never actually taken it off and cleaned it.

Mine just always says 40 degrees. Assuming it’s broken.

I would replace that ambient temp sensor first, easy to access from Driver's side bumper.

Not yet, I plan on replacing the radiator in the spring and will likely do it then., it doesn’t look complicated.

I pressure washed my oil cooler and radiator. A lot of dirt and debris came out so I'm sure airflow was severely compromised.

I can now beat on the car for a lot longer and can stay under 285 degrees...which I couldn't do before.

Did you remove everything and then pressure wash ? Am I able to just pressure wash it with it being on ?

Off. I removed the oil cooler from the shroud but I was also washing the radiator. I washed it from the back to the front...should be able to get at it.

I used a cheap harbor freight washer...not sure how much PSI you can go before you start bending fins. I think the unit I was using maxed out at 700psi.

Factory connector has 2 wires: one is gnd and the other is the analog voltage going to the DME's processor ADC pin.
