    DS/PS height after coilovers

EDIT: I loaded the seat with 180lbs and to get the ride height more or less even I had to drop the driver front spring perch ~5mm less than the passenger. Is this acceptable?

I installed my TCK's finally (great ride) but after taking great care to insure all the measurements were even, exposed thread height, seat height of front struts etc. I have found a near 1/2" higher ride height on the driver's side about 1/4" higher on the rear driver side as well.

I had about a 10min test drive, maybe not enough? TCK thought maybe I had one front sturt installed higher than the other, this is not the case as far I can tell.

Before I removed my BC coilvers I took measurements and found the driver's front was at 13.5" while the passenger front was 13 1/4".

Also on the BC's the rear height was driver: 13 1/4" and passenger: 13 1/8".

I measured the BC's once removed from the vehicle and found the fronts were both set the same height as well as the rears.

I did not note any damage to the strut towers and after seeing about every inch of this vehicle I have never seen anything to lead me to believe there was undisclosed damage.

Normal IMO, I had to adjust my drivers side to sit a little lower or you need some weight in the drivers seat (I used 45lb plates) to see if that evens it out. I left my drivers side a tad higher to account for my weight.

My current ride height (PSS10) after making sure both sides are as equal as possible using a micrometer for adjustment:

      Front left driver - 13.375”
      Front right passenger - 13.25”
      Difference - .125”

      Rear left driver - 13.25”
      Rear right passenger - 13.125”
      Difference - .125”

Btw my car is NOT corner balanced.

So maybe I should set it up for about 1/4" difference as 1/2" seems quite excessive.

I just don't want to change the spring setup side to side too much but really don't have another option.

This spring I will have it properly aligned/possibly balanced but for now I just want to dial it in as much as I can.

Using AI search I see that from factory BMW does favor the driver's side to account for the occupant, and I will do the same to a degree.

Does anyone know if they account for this via the suspension components or is this done with strut tower height etc.?
