ECS or Bimmerworld CSL Bumper on a '05 car

All right, I know this is ragebait for some of you. I'm sorry.

I know the Miles End or an OE CSL bumper is the highest quality bumper.

I track and use this car everyday and it came with a Vorsteiner CSL trunklid, it is painted in a CSL color from the factory so I would like to put on a CSL style front bumper.

I will scrape it against driveways. It will get rock chips, it will get tire marks. So I'd rather not spend my tire budget this year on a bumper.

Initial plan was get a Bimmerworld CSL bumper and swap on the 2001 bumper support as my friend had a parts car with everything needed for that conversion.

I pulled all of it and removed the support saw how it heavy it was and that is now no longer an option for me.

So I'd much rather prefer rigging it on the lighter Kevlar one.

I know the Bimmerworld one highly recommends the 01 Alu support for the best fitment, is the ECS on the same way?

Basically my question is there any advantage to getting the ECS one over the bimmerworld one?

Probably from the same place. I just finished a mold for an OE front bumper...can make CF bumpers now if you're interested.

From what I have come across, I think the Vorsteiner is the only one that works with the Kevlar carrier. (Edit: Mile End/GT4 Composites too)

Just run the OE front bumper with some CSL flippers for much more cheap.

It's a track car, keep the ducts for brakes.

Both vendors are selling the same replica CSL bumper that is all over eBay. I would not replace a stock bumper with this replica.

Mile End/Gt4 Composites bumper is the only one that fits the OEM kevlar rebar like factory using the suction cups

I posted my Karbonius flippers on the marketplace, but they are only cheap compared to a Miles End bumper lol

'Course, they don't need paint... so...

Oh no way! Wish I knew that early on. Is that specified in the first post of your thread? If so, well that teaches me a lesson hahah.

So that I understand the distinction between yours and Vorstiener is the use of the suction cups?

Our bumpers for kevlar rebars are instlled same as an OEM non-CSL bumper. Also no need for a different windshield washer reservoir. And they are made in Canada

Dude...you really need a website or some sort of marketplace.

I might do it in the future but right now I prefer to stay on this website for 2 reasons:

-Keep as much E46 M3 related stuff on this platform vs Instagram/Facebook. I see a lot more value on this forum.

-we can't really produce more than the orders we have here. We aren't going to move more volume even with a website.

I get it. Facebook is interesting and I do it for entertainment. I list a sunroof delete panel on marketplace for $300. Someone offered $150. Of course I said yes and then ghosted them...lol.
