troubleshooting help needed: door lock actuator replacement

    car's currently at shop,

    Original symptom:
    - right lock not working with key fob, nor central lock button
    - indoor handle can work with double pull to unlock door.
    - sometimes it will enter the double lock state where indoor handle is not working either

    what i did:
    - put in a used GM5, sometimes i can hear click, but still no unlock,

so i bought the new lock actuator for shop to put in.

    Problem right now:
    - shop reports, after put in the new one, it's entering the double lock state? fob, not working, saying GM5 is sending "lock" signal?
    - saying it's GM5 module's fault

    (1) anyone with experience here on what's the correct/safe way to get this lock actuator replaced?
    (2) what could be the culprit here? thought this could just be a simple straightforward job ..

so later i brought my original GM5 module back to shop, and i did the relay replacement myself, so i assume this original GM5 should be in correct working state, and should not be the culprit now...but haven't hear back from shop yet.

    Problem prediction:
    - faulty lock actuator?
    - or faulty process somewhere?

what are my options here to make this installation complete and working ..
any other faulty items to cause this condition?

Thanks everyone for inputs or experiences sharing.
knowing i should leave it to shop to resolve this, but i don't like the feeling of waiting blindly (will call them up tomorrow again as well)

Where did you buy the relays from? Genuine relays are not easy to find nowadays.

i got those relays on aliexpress ..

(i followed the youtube guide to solder them on, and test each pins to make sure at least physically they are working .. )
(hope it's a simple GM5 module issue with the new lock actuator)
(hate to see the new actuator got damaged, or, additional issues come up, and original one wasn't even resolved XD)

There is a good chance that those are non-genuine TE relays. Were you able test the actual relays and not just the pins?

These relays tend to go bad, so a used GM5 might also have bad relays.

i can't tell if they are genuine or not .. marking on the relays seem to look alike the original ones..

shop just reports, GM5 with new relay works, but lock is responding slowly.. so, switch back to my replaced GM5 (with old relays)
suggest me with faulty key fob and etc .. will see when i get the car back after other items are installed ..

bad ground? or something else is causing such electrical issues.. ?

Check the central lock buttons. I had a similar problem and the bottom of the button was blown out. I managed to glue it back together and no other issues since. Hazard lights not working is another symptom.
