Dashboard removal smg

Hi all

I’m in the process of stripping my interior ready to swap dashboard and carpets in my m3 with smg gearbox.

Does the shifter need removing in order to get the dash out and if so what’s the best way?

No it does not. But with that said removing the shifter is not that big of a deal. Some wiring and (3) nuts, you'll see it all when the trim plates are removed.

thanks. Managed to get it sorted today and dash is out. Just waiting for black carpet to arrive
