Broken V brace bolt

So I just noticed that the rear v brace center bolt is broken off and now I need to drill it out. What brand and drill bit type should I get? How do I get the drill bit to bit into the bolt? I bought some random Amazon extract kit and it didn’t even hit into the bolt. What should I do?
