    lower rear quarter glass seals

    Hi all

    I have gloss black trim and purchased the seals from Matt Navis. Got the old seal off the car but can’t seem to separate the gloss black trim from it to swap to new seal.

    anyone done this and got any suggestions?

    thanks

    Its a very tedious job but;

    1 - plastic razor blade
    2 - braided fishing line
    3 - goo gone
    4 - heat gun

    some combination of the above + soapy water, paper towels and firm bristle brushes. You're gonna be in there probably 1-2 hours per side if it's super messy so just mentally prepare to be patient.

      Thanks.

      The rubber stuck on the back is so brittle I’m finding it very difficult to remove so decided to order new seals from the dealer. I’ll have to sell the ones I purchased from Matt Navis on

        Are we talking about the inside weather stripping or the one on the outside of the window? Because I desperately need to replace mine that are on the rear window and run vertical by the door..
