    CSL Parts Installation Help/Tips

I'm having some CSL parts painted and installed soon (OEM trunk, Miles End diffuser, bumper) and I was wondering if there were any tips or tricks with installing these parts? My paint /body work guy does good work but I just wanted to see if there were any issues with the installation that he might run into, other than normal bodywork ones.

I tried calling around to my local BMW shops to see if any of them would be comfortable with installing the parts after paint and they all decline to do the work, understandably. But if anybody has a shop in the Upper Maryland area that knows these parts and could help, I'd appreciate the info.

The bumper fits excellent. You need to reuse the suction cup things on your original bumper and transfer it over.

Fitment wise, you picked the best options available right now.

The diffuser is the easiest of the components, remove the old one, install the new one. There isn't really anything to adjust, even if you wanted to.

The bumper fits perfect but you may have to adjust the bumper mounts to get perfect alignment with the fenders. I recommend getting the Trinity Graphics bumper mounts for increased durability and adjustability.

The trunk will be the hardest to get aligned. If your factory trunk fits perfect, the CSL trunk will probably be 90% spot on. The last 10% takes a lot of patience though. There are a ton of places to adjust the fitment from and it seems to be a process based on compromise, not perfection.

Although I did not do a DIY on any of these, there are a lot of photos in my build thread that will help guide you. You can always reach out to me directly if you need help. None of these are that difficult that a body shop would need to do it for you.
