Sunroof shade

Hi all

The shade for my sunroof has gone all the way back and doesn’t come out when closing the sunroof.

any ideas how this can be fixed?

This happened to me years ago and if I recall, there are plastic guides on both sides of the shade that can break and result in the shade not moving with the glass. Check those--parts 16 & 17 on Real OEM sliding roof diagram. If I'm also remembering correctly, you'll need to remove the glass. At that point, you should clean/re-grease the sliding mechanism as well.

i’ll have to wait for good weather before removing the glass
