We can edit Carfax Now?

Got an email from Carfax after my M5 passed emissions. Interesting, since I don't have an account. But OK. See a button that says "View History." I figure that will bring me to a pitch to buy a subscription.

Nope, takes me to actual history of my car, and I can edit with more detail about the service dates! I don't know if these edits actually go to Carfax that someone could view. If it does this gets interesting, and how do they control for someone putting in fake service? I made the edits to the 2021 visit, which I have pasted below.

Am I the last owner to know this, or do these edits never make it to official report?

Carfax has an official process to edit what everyone ultimately views and to make a change requires documentation Possible bug? Or maybe that will ultimately lead you to the point of filling out the discrepancy paper work.
